Intrinsyx Bio, a leading provider of biological nutrition products that increase crop yields and optimise fertilizer usage, has appointed Greg Thompson as CEO and a member of its board of Directors.

After serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors for more than a year, Thompson will manage the company’s rapid growth and transformation as it commercializes its extensive product portfolio and pipeline of natural biological products.   Earlier this year, Intrinsyx signed a global technology collaboration agreement with SABIC to commercialize its technology and optimize nitrogen use on a global scale.

Thompson has decades of experience in the agriculture industry as an entrepreneur, executive, and investor. He was President and Chief Operating Officer of Verdesian Life Sciences, an agricultural technology company specializing in nutrient use efficiency and biological technologies, and previously served as CEO of companies in the food ingredients and biofuel industries.  He currently serves as an advisor to Bain Company, Chairman of the Board of Custom Agronomics, and is a Senior Operating Partner with Inverness Graham – a Private Equity fund that invests in high-growth, innovative advanced manufacturing, and tech-enabled companies.
